The Remnant Generation was founded in 2011 and was registered as Not for Profit, Non-Government Organization in 2015 under Non-Government Organization Act of the Laws of Uganda.
We reach, rescue and restore survivors of sexual abuse and pregnant teen girls. We invest in their flourishing by providing safe spaces, spiritual nurturing, counselling, access to education, health, justice and job training. Our hope is to see healed and empowered girls restored to their communities – transforming a culture of shame into a culture of grace.
The Remnant Generation has become a national point of contact to offer care, support, protection and transformation to teenage pregnant mothers. Currently, we are an active member of Children at Risk Action Network (CRANE), the Uganda Child Rights NGO Network (UCRNN) and affiliated to Association for Life of Africa (AFLA).

In 2011 when Annabelle, Isaac and 2 other friends founded The Remnant Generation, the purpose was to go into schools and communities to inspire young girls to dream, believe and achieve success. As a survivor of sexual abuse and child marriage, Annabelle believed that by using her personal life story she would help girls make life affirming choices.
Over the years, The Remnant Generation has grown and now works solely to help survivors of sexual abuse and pregnant teenage girls access legal services, health services, holistic psycho-social support and receive a complete education to reach their full potential. At the heart of all these efforts are proactive strategies to share the redeeming gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that true transformation, healing and restoration come from God.
