Who Are We

Established in 2015, The Remnant Generation (TRG) is a Faith based ministry dedicated to the healing, restoration and empowerment for survivors of sexual abuse and teen moms across the African community. We invest in their flourishing by providing safe spaces, spiritual nurturing, and counseling, access to education, health, justice and job training. Our hope is to see healed and empowered girls restored to their communities – transforming a culture of shame into a culture of grace and respect for human dignity. Today The Remnant Generation is celebrating a decade working within Uganda more especially among the highly risky populations of Central, Western and Eastern Uganda in the districts of Kampala, Luuka and Lyantonde.

Throughout the years, we have reached and impacted lives of over 7,000 young women and girls in crisis situations as a result of sexual abuse and unexpected pregnancies, their families and communities. Our awareness campaigns and outreaches in schools, churches and local communities reach thousands of young people every year. The Remnant Generation has become a national point of contact offering love, care, support, protection and transformation to teenage pregnant mothers. Currently, we are an active member of Children at Risk Action Network (CRANE) and the Uganda Child Rights NGO Network (UCRNN) and we are affiliated to Association for Life of Africa (AFLA) and Heartbeat International (USA).
